Prevent Corrosion on the Outside of Your RV During Storage
To reduce the risk of corrosion to the outside of your RV during storage, follow these simple tips:
- Cover your wheels to prevent UV damage
- Covering your RV can trap moisture around your RV if you don’t have a breathable cover. Another option is to store your RV under a canopy or an open sided garage. This keeps debris from falling onto your RV but still lets airflow and the sun keep it dry during the winter
- Thoroughly clean the outside of your RV and dry completely before storage to reduce the chance of mold
