Problems With Your Wheels Can Lead to a Dangerous Blow Out

The main corrosion related problem with wheels is their susceptibility to dry rot from UV damage the rubber becomes drying brittle.
To prevent this, first always maintain the proper tire pressure in your tires.  Nothing wears tired out quicker than too much or too little tire pressure, this can put stress on your tire and make it more prone to damage from UV and other natural elements.

When your RV is not in use cover the wheels with tire covers.  These go on quite easily and protect the wheels from UV damage.
When you routinely wash your RV use a tire cleaner / conditioner to keep the rubber supple and hydrated.
 
Following these two simple tips can help prolong the life of your tires and make them the last thing you should be worrying about.
